An innovative and collaboratively-minded researcher with a developing international profile in Urban Disaster Resilience, Huey Wen brings an aptitude for interdisciplinary thinking and focuses on the social factors interacting with the physical built environment in the context of disaster.
Owning the knowledge of psychology and engineering management, Huey Wen specialises in cutting-edge research directions such as organisational behaviour on infrastructure resilience management, hospital disaster preparedness and response, and social behaviour, contributing to community health resilience. Other than the research work on earthquake disasters, Huey Wen's most recent work has been on the impact of COVID-19 on urban resilience. Huey Wen has also involved in research of construction safety management.
